So many things have changed I don't know where to start! We moved back to New York State, first of all, and had a long transition time where we were basicly homeless. Not that we were on the street or anything- basicly we were living with family, sleeping on a futon in Meg's brother's basement. Meg found temporary work, and I was able to do my job from Keith's house, so it all worked out eventually.
We thought we were moving out after two weeks into this cute little apartment in Troy, but instead we found a house rental in Latham that we just couldn't pass up. The only downside was we had to wait another few weeks to move into the house rental, so that left us staying in the basement for almost a full month. I guess now that everything is settled, I can say that it is great to be back in New York!
This week Meg has been home studying for her ADA exam, which is basicly like a 'bar' exam for Dietitians. The test is Saturday, so it has been like a monastery around here for the past several days. Please send Meg all your good thoughts! I'm confident that she'll do well on her test, but it helps to have encouragement. This is one of those computer-adaptive tests that are so popular these days, so she has to go to a Prometric center and tap on a computer for two hours, after which she will immediately get her score.
