ADK Fall Outing - September 10-12, 2010

The Schenectady Chapter will be hosting the Fall Outing at Camp Fowler in Speculator, NY. The outing will feature trips for hiking, on- and off-road biking, flat-water canoeing and whitewater kayaking. Other recreational opportunities abound: the Adirondack Museum is close by and the Wild Center is only an hour’s drive away. In addition, Camp Fowler features 245 wooded acres on Sacandaga Lake, offering opportunities for swimming and paddling. A Saturday evening banquet will feature speaker Don Williams.

There are limited on-site accommodations, but the area features a variety of motels and B&Bs and state and local campgrounds. A complete list of options will be included in registration packets.
